Heartbeat's goin' for broke at Kayas
Unfortunately due to unforeseen factors, Payday had to be placed in a pet home (his testicles did not descend). He now will reside in Canada with a very nice lady who is going to spoil him rotten. We miss him, and hope that we will be able to have another one like him next year. He was beautiful and everything that we could ask for...just lacking two small details. Good luck out there little man, we know that you are still making every smile!
Little man Payday is our latest edition to our home and our bloodlines. He comes from a good friend in Maryland by the name of "Vicki Wilt", who is doing very well with her kennel "Heartbeats Bostons".
Well the story goes that she has this female by the name of "Dovey" (ch Heartbeat's caramel kiss"). I have adored her since I laid eyes on her, and I insisted that I simply HAD to have a puppy from Dovey. When she was bred to a dog named "Cash"(ch barra's show me the money"), I knew that somewhere down the line one of the puppies might come to me... and I was lucky enough to make that happen.
The name "Payday" is a sort of tribute to both parents. Dovey, is named after candy. Cash is named after money.......sooooooo, what is a candy bar named after money?? Bingo!!!! So this is how he has acquired his name.
Payday is a little guy who is very typey. He is kind of a wimp, but he is so darn cute, funny and cuddley that we think that he will be a champ in no time. Edee and Laz like to harass him all day, and he puts up with the "sisters of doom" pretty well. He is also routinely carried around and made to watch cartoons with the two resident human children here. He might be a wimp, but he is a sure a cute wimp. Watch out for him in the show ring in winter 2008!!!!!
